The ceremonial hall exhibits a collection of turqueries, paintings with Turkish motifs from the 17th century depicting famous Turkish and European military leaders and dignitaries, ladies from the Ottoman Empire and the inhabitants of distant lands. The collection documents the early interest of educated Europeans in foreign cultures and is the largest in Europe.
