The gallery Mihelič was named after the great Slovene artist France Mihelič, who donated his comprehensive graphic collection and the entire painting legacy to the museum of Ptuj.
The gallery is located in the round tower along the Drava River built in 1551 and once the important element of the Renaissance defence system in Ptuj. The gallery hosts exhibitions and cultural events presenting national and international contemporary artists.
