We cordially invite you to the opening of the exhibition of art works by the academic painter, graphic artist and professor Zdenko Huzjan on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 6 p.m. in the Mihelič Gallery in Ptuj.

Zdenko Huzjan is a great magician of pictorial perception of the world, which pushes us beyond our limits and thus creates the transcendence of being. From the beginning, Huzjan’s perception of art has been focused on observing and interpreting the essence of human existence. The result is the summarization of experiences and the search for their creations, i.e. original archetypal transformations. For his many years of work in the field of artistic creation, he received many awards and recognitions, including the Prešeren Fund award in 1988.

The curators of the exhibition are Stanka Gačnik and Nina Jeza.
