The Sluga Collection
The Sluga Collection presents the dwelling culture of the middle classes in the first half of the 19th century. Marko Sluga, an art lover and collector, donated the exhibits to the Museum in 2003. The Biedermeier furniture represents the principle of simplicity in design, emphasis on structure and beauty of wood and natural materials as well as the attachment to classical antique forms.
