The Castle Gallery

From April 1 to December 31, 2025, the gallery will be CLOSED due to the renovation of the premises and the loan of paintings for the Baroque in Slovenia exhibition. From May 15 to July 6, 2025, the castle gallery will host the MAY SALON 2025, and from July 10 to August 31, the contemporary art festival ART SAYS 2025.

The gallery on the second floor of Ptuj castle exhibits 47 paintings from the end of the 16th century to the second third of the 18th century: the portraits of aristocrats, the imperial portraits of the Hapsburgs, the paintings with religious contents and mythological scenes, still lifes and landscapes.
